Review Methodology
Our review process has five steps:
- Ordering: We place orders through AllChinaBuy using our own accounts. We note order date, agent response time, and any communication issues.
- Receiving: Products arrive at our Guangzhou lab. We photograph packaging, check for damage, and weigh each item.
- Hands-on testing: At least two editors test the product. For apparel, we try on multiple sizes and check fit, fabric, and stitching. For electronics, we test battery life, build quality, and user interface. For home goods, we assess materials and durability.
- Scoring: We assign a score across the full 1 to 5 scale and explain the evidence behind it. Scores are based on quality, value, and accuracy of the listing.
- Publishing: We write the review with photos, measurements, and comparison tables. We update reviews if we find new issues.
We also track shipping lines and agent fees in separate guides. Our comparison tables show cost, speed, and reliability.
Scope of the findings
The published record identifies the model, purchase date, sample count and applicable inspection steps. Electronics battery findings include their test conditions; materials observed at arrival do not establish long-term durability.
